About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking an experienced Caregiver with expertise in Dementia and Memory Care to assist clients with their daily needs. This role involves providing companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. We have various morning and daytime shifts available throughout the week, with opportunities for immediate start.
Requirements
- 2 years+ of caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable helping BOTH male and female clients
- Experience helping with personal care
- No Restrictions concerning type of care
- Experience with Dementia and Memory Care
Responsibilities
- Companionship – conversation, playing games, watching TV
- Personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Medication Reminders
