About The Position

Sevita is hiring a part-time evening Caregiver to support people with developmental goals and complex needs. The role involves helping participants grow, learn, and live well; building meaningful relationships; supporting their personal hygiene; and helping them take part in their community and favorite activities. Caregivers also support goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and may assist individuals who have behavioral challenges.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support participants with personal hygiene.
• Help participants work toward developmental goals, including budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
