About The Position

Right at Home Eastern Worcester County is hiring an experienced female CNA or HHA for a steady daytime caregiving case in a client’s private home in Ashland, Massachusetts. The caregiver will support an adult female client with a neurological disorder who is non-verbal and needs full assistance with daily care. The client may scream or yell during care, so the caregiver must remain calm, patient, reassuring, and professional.

The schedule is Monday through Sunday, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $20–$22 per hour. This is described as a consistent, long-term case. The posting also notes flexible scheduling opportunities. Driving is not required for attending the client’s medical appointments.

Requirements

• Female CNA or HHA required for this case.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Strong Hoyer lift and total-care experience.
• Comfortable providing full hands-on care.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Active car registration and auto insurance.
• Current physical and Fit-for-Duty note.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Remain calm, patient, reassuring, and professional when the client may scream or yell during care.

Responsibilities

• Provide full hands-on total care.
• Assist with multiple Hoyer lift transfers per shift.
• Provide extensive bed care, including rolling and repositioning.
• Assist with feeding while following aspiration precautions.
• Support wheelchair mobility and proper positioning.
• Maintain the client’s dignity, safety, and comfort.
• Attend medical appointments with the client; driving is not required.
