This role involves providing direct support and assistance to individuals in accordance with their service or program plans. Responsibilities include aiding with socialization, behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community orientation, shopping, financial management, citizenship, and other daily living activities. The position also requires accurate documentation of progress and activity, maintaining confidentiality, and completing billing documentation. Additionally, the caregiver will assist with money management, maintain professional relationships with individuals and their support networks, report any instances of alleged abuse or neglect, and respect the rights of those being served.
