About The Position
Caring Senior Service of Houston North is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join their team and support seniors in their homes. They currently have weekend AM & PM shifts available and are looking for caregivers who are ready to make a difference in the lives of seniors. The role involves assisting with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, emotional support, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and activities, all while encouraging independence and improving clients' quality of life.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and punctual
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Offer medication reminders
- Assist with transportation to appointments and activities
- Encourage independence and help improve our clients' quality of life
