Senior Helpers of West Houston is a trusted provider of compassionate and reliable in-home care for seniors throughout the West Houston community. We provide customized care plans ranging from companionship and personal care to specialized support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and chronic conditions. Requirements
- Experience providing personal care to seniors
- Ability to assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge or experience in memory care (Alzheimer’s, dementia, chronic condition management)
- Patient, empathetic, and positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to varying client needs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Able to pass an initial background check (Required)
Nice To Haves
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Prior caregiver experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene support)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other chronic conditions
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, basic cleaning)
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Promote a safe, comfortable, and independent living environment
