About The Position

Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking compassionate caregivers to join their team. Caregivers will assist clients with various daily living activities, including companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. The role offers flexible scheduling with shifts available during weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including overnights. Requirements

• 2 years+ of caregiving experience (personal or professional experience)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Comfortable helping BOTH male and female clients
• Experience helping with personal care, bathing, dressing and grooming

Responsibilities

• Companionship – conversation, playing games, watching TV
• Personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting
• Light housekeeping- dusting, disinfecting and straightening up areas
• Meal preparation- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
• Medication Reminders
