About The Position
Amada Senior Care is growing and looking for dedicated, compassionate caregivers to join their team in Nederland, TX, and surrounding communities. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors and veterans by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Requirements
- Caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius
- Professional attitude & strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship & emotional support
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming & toileting
- Medication reminders
- Mobility & transfer assistance
- Transportation to appointments & errands
- Meal preparation & light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in condition
- Encouraging independence and engagement
