About The Position
Geriatric Wellness & Caregiving of California is a high-quality concierge home care agency seeking kindhearted and life enhancement caregivers to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care. Several positions are available with immediate needs for full-time and regular hours, as well as part-time shifts across various locations including Downtown Sacramento, West Roseville, Granite Bay, and Folsom. We are looking for individuals who want to feel valued and be part of a work family.
Requirements
- HCA certified
- Clean background check
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to feel valued and be part of a work family
- Kind and gentle personality
- Clear DMV record (for driving clients)
- Commitment to working specified shifts (e.g., 5 days a week for full-time positions)
Nice To Haves
- CNA background
- Nursing student or allied health student (for specific shifts)
- Comfortable driving clients to appointments and on outings
Responsibilities
- Provide care for clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as showering and changing bed linens.
- Engage clients in activities for mental stimulation, such as brain games.
- Accompany clients on walks and outings.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with exercise and stretching programs.
- Offer companionship and reassurance, especially to clients with anxiety.
- Drive clients to appointments and on outings.
- Maintain continuity of care for clients.
