Requirements

Minimum 1-2 years of professional caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience
Genuine compassion, patience, and reliability when working with elderly or disabled clients
Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans
Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client homes in the Chicago North area

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe home environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
