About The Position
CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable caregiver for a high-level client in West Bloomfield, MI. This role offers consistent work with potential for additional hours, focusing on hands-on assistance and mobility support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with personal care, transfers, and potentially driving the client's transportation van.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and responsible
- Comfortable providing hands-on caregiving assistance
- Able to perform the essential physical duties of the position
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- Current TB test or willingness to complete one
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and wheelchair transfers preferred
- PEG tube experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Provide safe mobility and transfer assistance
- Assist with Hoyer lift and wheelchair transfers
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals
- Complete light housekeeping
- Provide companionship
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Assist with transportation as needed
