About The Position
Senior Helpers is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to provide in-home care for a client in Rushville, IN. This role involves assisting clients with personal care, daily living activities, and potentially running errands. The client requires assistance 7 days a week, with shifts ranging from 4-8 hours.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have car insurance.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- No felons.
Nice To Haves
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certifications are not required but are a plus.
- Experience caring for a family member.
- Experience as a full-time parent or homemaker.
- Experience in an assisted living facility, Skilled Nursing, Senior Home, or Senior Center as a Caretaker.
- Experience as a teacher or child care worker.
- Retired individuals looking to give back.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Potentially run errands for the client.
- Medication reminders.
- Assist with general mobility around the house.
- Meal preparation.
- Engage in companion activities like playing games.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Conduct safety checks.
