About The Position
Join our team as a compassionate caregiver and help seniors and individuals with specialized needs maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. We are looking for individuals who can provide daily support, ensure health and safety, offer specialized care for conditions like Alzheimer's and dementia, assist with home and meal preparation, and provide transportation for outings.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in senior care.
- Ability to safely operate mobility equipment, including Hoyer lifts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Compassion, patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others.
Nice To Haves
- First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other personal care needs.
- Administer medications as directed, monitor vital signs, and document updates in our EMR system.
- Provide compassionate support to clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and memory care needs.
- Prepare nutritious meals and provide light housekeeping.
- Drive clients to medical appointments, errands, and other necessary outings.
