About The Position
Assisting Hands is hiring Caregivers to provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes. We are looking for honest, reliable, compassionate, and caring individuals who are interested in making a difference in someone’s life. Caregivers are needed in St Pete, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Gulfport, and Pinellas Park.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Alzheimer's / Dementia Certification
- HIV / Aids Certification
Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting)
- Transferring and Ambulation Assistance
- Light Housekeeping
- Grocery Shopping and Meal Preparation
- Companionship/Supervision
- Transportation/assistance scheduling transportation to doctor appointments and running errands
- Assistance with goals
- Medications reminders
