About The Position

Clarity Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. This role offers a chance to make a difference in the lives of people with varying abilities, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives. Clarity Care is a nonprofit organization committed to providing high-quality care with respect and integrity. No prior experience or certifications are required, and the organization is hiring immediately. The Caregiver will assist with daily operations in a group home setting, focusing on consumer rights, personal care, daily living activities, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid WI driver's license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
  • Must provide proof of auto insurance.
  • Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check, including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks and/or checks of previous states of residence.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • People Person - Customer Service Oriented.
  • Hands on Caregiving Experience.
  • Personal Care Work (PCW).

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care support to members with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene, as outlined by the individual service plan.
  • Comfortably uses mobility devices and practices safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
  • Teaches and guides members in achieving their hopes, dreams, goals, and objectives through self-direction, decision-making, and goal-setting.
  • Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
  • Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming group home by performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, making beds, and changing linens.
  • Prepares and serves meals, following general nutritional guidelines, menus, and individual dietary restrictions, needs, and preferences.
  • Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed by members during social and recreational activities.
