About The Position

Clarity Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers. This role offers a chance to make a difference in the lives of people with varying abilities, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives. Clarity Care is a nonprofit organization committed to providing high-quality care with respect and integrity. No prior experience or certifications are required, and the organization is hiring immediately. The Caregiver will assist with daily operations in a group home setting, focusing on consumer rights, personal care, daily living activities, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

High school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid WI driver's license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
Must provide proof of auto insurance.
Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check, including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks and/or checks of previous states of residence.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
People Person - Customer Service Oriented.
Hands on Caregiving Experience.
Personal Care Work (PCW).

Responsibilities

Provides direct care support to members with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene, as outlined by the individual service plan.
Comfortably uses mobility devices and practices safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
Teaches and guides members in achieving their hopes, dreams, goals, and objectives through self-direction, decision-making, and goal-setting.
Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming group home by performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, making beds, and changing linens.
Prepares and serves meals, following general nutritional guidelines, menus, and individual dietary restrictions, needs, and preferences.
Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed by members during social and recreational activities.
