Requirements

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Ability to use gait belts and Hoyer lifts, or willingness to train
• Knowledge of care for clients with behavioral issues
• Solid understanding of emergency response and basic first aid
• Excellent communication
• Strong time management skills and a trustworthy nature
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of senior care experience
• Gait belt experience (1 year)
• Transfer skills experience (1 year)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and professional care for senior clients
• Assist with transfers using a gait belt and Hoyer lift
• Care for clients with conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, dementia, bed bound
• Physically able to perform transfers and provide support as needed
• Experience with housekeeping activities and meal preparation, respecting dietary restrictions
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards
