About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in their homes. We are currently looking for caregivers interested in 12-hour day and overnight shifts. If you're looking for longer shifts and the opportunity to provide meaningful one-on-one care, we'd love to hear from you. Schedules vary based on client needs, with opportunities available for caregivers who can commit to extended day or overnight shifts. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and experienced caregivers without CNA or HHA certification who have hands-on caregiving experience.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clean Driving Record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
• Able to commit to extended day or overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Personal care assistance
• Bathing and toileting assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation
• Following individualized plans of care
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Other duties as assigned
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
