About The Position
Experienced Caregivers with a commitment to providing a higher standard of care are needed for Home Care in Cleveland, TX and Surrounding Areas. Day, Evening, Overnight, and Weekend shifts are available, ranging from 4 - 12 hours long. This role is for individuals who enjoy caring for people, providing companionship, and have the compassion and commitment to make a difference in people's lives. Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of documented health care experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR/BLS certification (in-person course only)
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within past year
- Current valid Texas Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Responsibilities
- Providing care according to the patient's plan of care
- Assistance with daily tasks, including but not limited to: meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
- Providing transportation to doctor appointments and errands
- Engage clients in activities and provide companionship
