About The Position
HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their team and enhance seniors’ lives. This role involves one-on-one work with clients, providing non-medical services to help seniors age in place in their homes. The company emphasizes treating employees with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Requirements
- CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
- Exceptional communication skills
- Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
- Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)
Responsibilities
- Companionship
- Light cooking and cleaning
- Bathing, grooming and toileting
- Assistance with ambulation and medication reminders
- Transportation for appointments and errands
