About The Position

Waneka Park is hiring a Caregiver to support residents’ comfort, dignity, and well-being. The caregiver works with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and under the guidance of the Health & Wellness Director, contributing to residents’ overall care plans and representing the facility’s commitment to compassionate care. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pay range is $18.50–$21.00. The application deadline is November 30, 2026.

Requirements

Current First Aid and CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing.
Support residents with stand-by assist transfers.
Provide personal hygiene care to residents.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor.
Apply infection control principles consistently during care activities.
Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities as required.
