About The Position
Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors? We are seeking caring individuals with at least 2 years of caregiving experience to join our growing team in the Denton area. As a Companion Caregiver, you will help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing companionship and support with daily activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- CNA, HHA, PCA, or equivalent experience welcomed
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Help with transportation and errands
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing and personal hygiene, Dressing and grooming, Toileting assistance, Mobility and transfers, Walking assistance, Feeding assistance when needed
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
