Requirements

• Ability to commit to a stable, ongoing schedule of at least 20 hours per week (part-time and full-time roles available).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English, and interpret the provided Plan of Care Document
• Ability to travel to and from client locations is required
• Valid US-issued driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current car insurance
• Pass a criminal background check before employment with Senior Helpers
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/or emergencies

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Caring companionship & conversation
• Transportation (errands, appointments, etc.)
• Apparel selection (i.e., laying out clothes)
• Meal assistance - planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, Hoyer lift)
• Light Housekeeping
• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, etc.)
• Household management, including laundry and linen changing
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques
• Other care-related duties, as required

• Be offered competitive pay (Up to $16 DOE)
• Boost your hourly rate with our differential pay, $1 more for weekday nights (6 pm to 6 am), $1.50 more for weekend days (6 am to 6 pm), and $2 more for weekend nights (6 pm to 6 am). More hours, more earnings!
