About The Position
Caring Senior Service is currently seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced Caregiver to provide in-home care for a client in Rayville, Louisiana. This is a part-time position with approximately 15-20 hours per week, offering up to 80 hours per month. The role is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor position. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver looking for consistent part-time hours while making a meaningful difference in a client’s daily life.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Comfortable providing hands-on assistance with personal care, mobility, and transfers
- Reliable, compassionate, patient, and professional
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Must successfully complete required onboarding and background screening
Responsibilities
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal care
- Ambulation and transfer assistance
- Incontinence care
- Companionship and supervision
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Transportation and assistance with medical appointments
- Medication reminders/setup
- Providing mobility and fall-prevention support
