Requirements

Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and reliable transportation every single day
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Supportive and compassionate
Must have 2 years of caregiving experience

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment

Responsibilities

Providing in-home companionship to elderly clients
Providing personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Reminding clients to take prescribed medication
Helping with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.
Planning and preparing meals
Completing the client’s shopping or accompanying them to successfully do so
Performing basic housekeeping duties
Reporting any unusual incidents and acting quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offering activities that are essential for daily living
