About The Position

Visiting Angels is looking for caring and dependable caregivers in Flourtown, PA, especially those who live near Chestnut Hill Hospital. Sometimes it’s helping someone get ready for the day, preparing a meal, having a conversation, or making sure they don’t feel alone.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
• Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect
• ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF VACCINATION.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and a friendly presence
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Assist with walking, transfers, and daily activities
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with errands and transportation when needed
• Follow each client’s care plan and preferences
• Notice and report changes in the client’s needs
• Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected
