About The Position
Independent Home Health is hiring a dependable, compassionate Caregiver for an immediate opening with a client in Beaver Springs, PA. This client needs assistance with personal care, meals, and everyday household tasks. The client is able to stand and pivot but needs assistance with some mobility and personal care. A typical morning may include getting a pot of coffee started, preparing meals, helping with morning routine, and providing companionship.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Dependable, caring and patient
- Reliable transportation
- Able to complete required background checks
- Comfortable providing personal care and mobility assistance
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience
- Experience with personal care
- Experience with showering assistance
- Experience with stand-and-pivot transfers
Responsibilities
- Toileting assistance
- Getting in and out of the shower and assistance with showering
- Dressing
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Supervision while eating
- Laundry as needed
- Light housekeeping
