About The Position
A patient’s family is seeking a caregiver for a female patient who has expressed a preference for a same-sex caregiver for personal care services. Patient is an elderly lady who suffers from mild dementia. Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, 2 days per week start at 8:00 am to 11:00 am total 6 hours per week. Depends on the need of the patient, it may extend to 3 or 4 days
Requirements
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Certified PSW or relevant experience in caregiving
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
