About The Position
Westhaven, a Cassia community, is hiring Caregivers to join our Assisted Living team. This flexible role is a great opportunity for someone looking to pick up extra hours while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. As a Caregiver at Westhaven Assisted Living, you will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort. You’ll provide hands-on support, respond to resident needs, and collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a genuine heart for serving seniors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Clear documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience preferred, but will train.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner.
- Provide redirection, reassurance, emotional and psychological support to residents and family members.
- Assist residents with personal care with dignity and grace.
- Document services performed on computerized charting system.
- Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
