About The Position
StoryPoint Fort Wayne North is seeking a compassionate and competent Caregiver to provide exceptional care for residents. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and participating in community engagement. The company operates with an employee-first mindset, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment with regular one-on-one conversations between employees and leaders. The goal is to make every minute great for residents, families, and employees.
Requirements
- Passionate about working with the elderly.
- Punctuality and professionalism are important.
- Interest in pursuing a career in a Healthcare setting (e.g., CNA, Nursing, Geriatrics).
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent care for residents.
- Assist residents with bathing, showering, and grooming/dressing.
- Assist residents with dining.
- Provide wheelchair and walking escorts.
- Assist with meal, activity, and medication reminders.
- Answer resident call signals.
- Participate in Life Enrichment activities.
