About The Position

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will engage in rewarding work helping individuals grow, learn, and live well, developing meaningful relationships with those you serve. You will be empowered by leaders to make decisions that benefit participants and will take initiative to integrate participants into the community and help them enjoy their favorite activities. The role involves supporting participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, as well as assisting with personal hygiene. You will also support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. This role is ideal for compassionate, patient individuals who find meaning in this type of work.

Requirements

• Education: No High School Diploma required
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
