About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to provide dedicated 1-on-1 support for a client on hospice care during the evening hours. The role requires empathy and experience to ensure maximum comfort, dignity, and peace for the client. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of caregiving experience.
- CNA certification or hospice/palliative care experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of gentle transfers, skin integrity, and comfort care.
- Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a High School Diploma/GED.
- Pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Providing compassionate end-of-life comfort care, gentle repositioning, and personal hygiene care.
- Monitoring physical changes, managing evening comfort, and maintaining a peaceful environment.
- Assisting with mobility/transfers safely and with dignity.
- Working attentively alongside the client's family and hospice team.
