About The Position
Right at Home of Salt Lake is seeking a Caregiver for approximately 30 hours per week. This position includes two 12-hour shifts plus additional hours throughout the week. The role involves providing one-on-one care to enhance the quality of life for both male and female clients. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact during morning hours.
Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience with dementia and behavioral care
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hoyer lifts and gait belts
Responsibilities
- Companionship
- Assistance with personal hygiene (peri-care, bathroom or in-bed support, brief changes)
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Transportation to appointments or outings
- Medication reminders
Benefits
- Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift
- Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
- Raises after 60 days and annual reviews
- Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)
- Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
