About The Position

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to provide ongoing care for a couple in Plano, TX (75075). This is a great opportunity for a caregiver looking for a consistent daytime schedule with 10-hour shifts and 30 scheduled hours per week. Both clients have cognitive impairment and benefit from a caregiver who is patient, attentive, organized, and comfortable providing reminders and helping them maintain their daily routine. There are no known violent or aggressive behaviors.

Requirements

• Dependable, patient, and comfortable working independently with two clients in the home
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supervision
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals and assist with maintaining regular meal routines
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and assist with shopping as needed
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and other scheduled outings
• Help both clients stay organized and on schedule
• Observe and report changes or concerns to the office
• Provide patient, respectful support related to cognitive impairment
