As a Senior Helpers of Monterey Park Caregiver, you make a lasting impact that betters the lives of our clients AND their families. Requirements

• You are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
• Have a reliable means of transportation
• Proficient in communication methods such as text and email
• Eligible to be a Home Care Aid (HCA) according to California Department of Social Services (CDSS) guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English and Tagalog Preferred
• Tagalog speaking strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing a helping hand.
• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrap booking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
