Amada Senior Care is growing and seeking compassionate, dependable, and passionate caregivers in Jasper, TX & surrounding areas. Caregivers provide comfort, companionship, encouragement, and a sense of security to seniors and veterans who wish to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. This role offers meaningful work where kindness and dedication can make a positive impact daily.
Requirements
- Compassionate and dependable individuals.
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, non-medical care and heartfelt companionship tailored to each client's individual needs.
- Assist with daily routines.
- Offer a listening ear.
- Prepare meals.
- Personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Light housekeeping.
- Medication reminders.
- Mobility and transfer assistance.
- Transportation to appointments and errands.
- Companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage client independence and engagement.
