About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team. We are hiring for a caregiver position to serve a client in Gig Harbor, WA. The client requires care from Monday through Sunday, 4pm to 11pm. We offer a competitive pay rate of $25.00/hour and provide CEU training assistance. At Amada Senior Care, our caregivers are the foundation of our excellent service, and we are committed to improving the lives of the clients we serve.
Requirements
- Active State License: CNA or HCA required.
- Caregiver with at least one (1) year of caregiver experience, highly preferred.
- Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
- Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required per Washington state law.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Delegation: highly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
- Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
- Following each client's Care Plan.
