About The Position
Happier At Home Care has been family owned since 2017. Voted top 3, for 2022 Buck's County Choice Awards in Home Health Care. We are seeking a part-time Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- High School Diploma/GED
- MUST be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, provide proof or vehicle registration and insurance
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- First aid and CPR certified preferred
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have access to reliable source of communication along with basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical

- Covid-19 Vaccinate is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- Maintain clients care plan progress
- Collaborate with other HAHC team members, and family members on the wellbeing of client
