Requirements
- Clean criminal background check.
- Live Scan / Fingerprinting.
- Reliable transportation with insurance.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (e.g., 2 forms of ID: Driver's License/Identification, passport, Permanent Resident ID/Social Security Card).
- Formal training or at least 6 months of experience in home care or a related field is desired.
- CPR + First Aid certification.
- TB test or chest X-ray required.
Nice To Haves
- CNA License desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide transportation for appointments, errands (pharmacy, grocery store, etc.).
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Administer medication reminders.
- Offer mobility and toiletry assistance.
- Provide companionship, engaging clients in activities like attending senior centers, playing games, reading, watching movies, and taking walks.
- Maintain detailed records of services provided and client conditions via an online portal.
- Notify the Care Coordinator of any significant changes or incidents during the shift.
