About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a caring, compassionate Caregiver to provide service for a client in the Dacula, GA area. This role involves providing hands-on personal care and daily assistance to clients in their homes, aiding with activities of daily living, preparing meals, light housekeeping, and offering companionship and emotional support. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced individual who is ready to start immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience
• Hands-on experience providing personal care is required
• Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, transfers, and meal preparation
• Must be ready to start immediately
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Compassionate and patient with clients
• Able to work independently and follow care plans and instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experienced, dependable, has at least 3 years of hands-on caregiving experience
• Has reliable transportation
• Available to start immediately

Nice To Haves

• CNA, PCA, or HHA certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and daily assistance
• Assist clients with ADLs while maintaining their comfort and dignity
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks related to client care
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
• Follow the client's care plan and safety guidelines
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Providing companionship
