About The Position
Assisting Hands Deerfield is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join their team as Caregivers. This role involves providing essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, and offering companionship. The position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, including weekdays and weekends, with a focus on morning and daytime shifts. Immediate start is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- 2 years+ of caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable helping BOTH male and female clients
- Experience helping with personal care
- No Restrictions concerning type of care
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification
Responsibilities
- Companionship – conversation, playing games, watching TV
- Personal care – bathing, dressing, toileting
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Medication Reminders
