The role involves planning and following daily care schedules, modifying care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and reporting any new conditions or needs that may arise. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care (bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating), following healthcare plans (exercise, medication administration), organizing the client's home for safety and needs, completing light housework, providing emotional support, assisting with mobility, and transporting clients to appointments. The caregiver must be patient, empathetic, observant, and committed to client comfort.
