About The Position

At Right at Home, our caregivers provide more than assistance. They bring comfort, companionship, dignity, and peace of mind to seniors and adults who want to remain safely in the place they call home. Right at Home provides outstanding care and we are a leader in the home care industry. We serve the towns of Englewood, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and limited zip codes in North Port.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass drug screening
• Pass a full employment background check

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, and shaving.
• Helping clients with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting clients through prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Providing dementia care.
• Engaging in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
