About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join their team and enhance seniors' lives. This role involves one-on-one work with clients in their homes, providing non-medical services to help them age in place. The company emphasizes treating employees with dignity, compassion, and respect, recognizing them as vital to the home care industry. All shifts are available, with cases in Pinellas and Pasco County.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds
Must have an active CPR Certification or be willing to get certified
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with valid insurance
Must possess excellent communication skills
Must be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
Must have an active State of Florida Level 2 Background Check or pass one

Nice To Haves

CNA or HHA license
6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons

Responsibilities

Perform activities of daily living and provide companionship for clients in their homes
Provide personal hygiene assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
Plan and prepare meals
Perform light housekeeping duties
Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed
Assist with medication as required
Provide transportation for appointments and errands
