About The Position

This is a short-term assignment in Lakewood for a team of caregivers to provide consistent, around-the-clock support for a client. The role involves sharing overnight weekday shifts and weekend daytime coverage. Upon completion of this short-term client assignment, there are opportunities to work with other clients in the Highlands Ranch, Littleton, and Lakewood areas. Assisting Hands Littleton is a non-medical, private-duty in-home care agency focused on helping clients live independently at home.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience required (in-home or facility)
• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to pass background and CAPS checks
• 3 professional references
• Negative TB test within 30 days of hire
• Must be comfortable working in a home with cats

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, attentive supervision and care across day and overnight hours.
• Offer gentle companionship and emotional reassurance.
• Assist with mobility, toileting, meals, and daily routines.
• Maintain a steady, caring presence to help the client feel safe and supported.
• Remain alert and responsive during overnight shifts.
