About The Position

Jovie is hiring childcare providers to care for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Caregivers provide safe, engaging, and dependable childcare for families, centers, and events. The role includes travel to homes, centers, and event locations as needed, so a reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance are required. The position is described as full-time with full-day availability. Typical shifts may run 4–10 hours and can include daytime care, before- or after-school care, date nights, occasional weekends, on-call opportunities, and event work. More availability may provide access to more opportunities. Pay is $17–$19 per hour, based on experience, availability, and willingness to travel. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a minimum of 2 years of childcare experience.
Provide three childcare references.
Have daytime availability.
Have a reliable personal vehicle.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Maintain active auto insurance.
Be willing and able to obtain and maintain required clearances.

Nice To Haves

Infant and toddler experience is preferred.
CPR certification and childcare clearances, or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, age-appropriate childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years.
