About The Position

AmeriCARE Marin is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers in Mill Valley and throughout Marin County. We are looking for caring professionals with a wide range of experience who are passionate about helping seniors and adults live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. We welcome all types of caregiving experience, whether professional or from caring for a loved one.

Requirements

• Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and daily activities
• Willing to learn and adapt to each client's individual needs
• Able to provide safe, respectful, and dependable care
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are strongly preferred for positions requiring client transportation.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, HHA, Med-Tech, or similar healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Provide senior and elderly care
• Offer in-home caregiving services
• Assist with Assisted Living needs
• Provide care for clients with Memory Care needs
• Care for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's
• Offer Hospice and end-of-life care
• Provide mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Assist with personal care and ADL support
• Give medication reminders
• Provide companionship
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide transportation and run errands
• Work in hospital or healthcare settings
