About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Howard County is actively hiring part-time Caregivers, CNAs, and PCAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking to older adults throughout Howard County, Maryland. We are looking for compassionate individuals who want flexible work that fits their life, want to work for a company that values them, and are ready to make a real difference in the lives of older adults in their community.

Requirements

• CNA certification preferred but not required
• CPR Certification required
• 1+ year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Valid car insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel within Howard County
• Must pass criminal background check
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.)
• Light housekeeping & meal preparation
• Grocery shopping & transportation to appointments
• Dementia care
• Communicate care updates to families and the office
