About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking caring, reliable, and dedicated caregivers to serve seniors and veterans in Vidor, Beaumont, and surrounding East Texas communities. As a caregiver, you will provide one-on-one support that helps clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. This role is suitable for experienced caregivers or those looking to start a rewarding new career.

Requirements

• Compassionate and dependable with a positive attitude
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Experience using gait belts and Hoyer lifts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance and support with daily activities
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance
• Prepare meals and help with light household tasks
• Provide medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands when needed
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and independent living environment
