About The Position
Senior Helpers Caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent in their homes. Caregivers are matched with seniors according to their area of expertise and support clients through companionship and assistance with daily activities. The role is suited to caring, compassionate people who enjoy helping others, take pride in making a difference, and are interested in professional growth. Senior Helpers is an independently owned and operated franchisee of SH Franchising, LLC, doing business as Senior Helpers. The company provides in-home senior care, including specialized care for people with chronic diseases and companion services for seniors who need assistance with daily activities. Its mission is to provide compassionate care and improve the quality of life of clients, their families, and employees. Responsibilities
- Build relationships with clients through engaging conversations.
- Participate in clients’ preferred hobbies and activities, such as scrapbooking, gardening, or games.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Report activities completed with clients and provide updates on their physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
