Caregiver
About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Gaston and Lincoln Counties is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as part-time Caregivers. This role involves providing non-medical elderly care and home companionship, assisting seniors in living as fully and independently as possible in their own homes. The position offers flexible hours, including day and night shifts, with varying client care needs from 4 hours to 24 hours. Responsibilities include laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding, as well as providing companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Caregivers are expected to complete documentation for each shift, communicate client needs to the office, and uphold the company's values of compassion and care.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2+ years of home care experience is a plus (caring for a loved one counts).

Responsibilities
